Amber Gym Rules

General rules:

• You may not use any Pokemon or items which are banned from the Scarlet/Violet National Dex Meta..
• You may use the following Pokemon in gyms despite their ban in the National Dex format: Annihilape, Genesect, Sneasler, Solgaleo. This list might change depending on Gym Managers' decisions.
• You must follow the Pokemon Limits: 4 for Single Type gyms, 6 for Dual Type gyms.
• You cannot use the following moves: Destiny Bond, Endeavor, Circle Throw, Roar and Whirlwind.
• You cannot use Pokemon with the following abilities: Arena Trap, Moody, Power Construct or Shadow Tag.
• You must follow the following clauses in all battles: Bag, Baton Pass, Evasion, Item, OHKO, Sleep & Species.
• Raise to cap must always be turned on and set to level 100.

Challenger Rules:

• You must always throw out your Pokémon before the leader and start with the same Pokémon.
• You may not disclose any **Gym Leader teams or counters/strategies **in order to beat specific Gym Leaders/Types. This includes selling Pokemon that are specifically trained to beat a gym to other players. Gym Leaders may still disqualify you if they feel you’re using a Pokemon/team that’s not yours. For example if you’re using the same team & strategy that a Gym Leader lost to the previous day, they may see fit to disqualify you.

Leader Rules:

• You may only use Pokemon that align with your gym type(s).
• A mega cannot be used in a gym that doesn't match its type Pre Mega Evolution. For example, Mega Lopunny cannot be used in fighting gym.
• In Dual Type gyms, Pokemon must be divided into 3 from each type. If a Pokemon has both types of that gyms, it is your choice which type to count it as.
• The leader must build 3 teams, 1 for each Prestige Level. They may be Similar but Must Not be the same. Check Prestige Rules for more info.

Prestige Rules

• During the First prestige level, Normal Rules apply.
• During the Second prestige level, the leader may use 1 Pokemon that does not match the Gym’s Typing(s).
• During the Third prestige level, the leader may use 1 Pokemon from the Uber tier of the S/V National Dex format. The uber is required to Share a Typing with the gym and may not be Arceus except for base form in Normal Gym.
